Above, a tailhousing from a Chevy S10 (with mechanical speedometer). This piece, along with the cover and shift forks will be mated to a GM version V8 T5, from a Camaro or Trans AM.

This assembly then uses a Buick 215 4-speed bell housing (above) to create a V8 wcT5 with a shifter that is in exactly the right location (below) for the Alfa GTV. The Rover block sits 2 inches further back in the engine bay than the Alfa 1750 block
